Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton is launching an NFT release that showcases its iconic Trunk, called the “VIA Treasure Trunk.” This exclusive NFT offering serves as a gateway for LV collectors. Markedly, it grants them exclusive access to immersive experiences and limited edition drops scheduled throughout the year.
The LV Trunk is renowned for its signature trunk-style luggage. Moreover, it has been instrumental in building the brand’s reputation and gaining worldwide acclaim. Originally introduced in 1858, LV luggage made a statement with its unique square shape and stackable structure. Its distinctive design distinguished it from the prevailing rounded-top luggage of the time, as it was primarily intended to allow water to run off.
So, how do we get hold of a Louis Vuitton NFT? The collection includes several hundred digital trunks, and you can join a waiting list to get access starting from June 8. Then, if selected, you can access the VIA portal on June 16. The price to participate is €39,000, which is around $42,000. Later, the Louis Vuitton NFTs will be eligible for resale on different NFT marketplaces.
